Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Khan

Dr. Mohammad Ahmed Khan holds a PhD in Pharmacology has been working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmacology at School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard. Prior to Joining the Department he was Research Officer at Central Research Institute of Unani Medicine, Hyderabad, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India and Consultant (National Drug Survey) at National Institute of Biologicals, Ministry of Health, Govt of India. He has served as Executive Secretary of FIP-WHO South East Asia Regional Pharmaceutical Forum. He was part of team which worked on the first modern draft of National Formulary of India under Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Govt. of India. Dr. Khan has published 50 Papers in National and International Journals with a Cumulative Impact Factor of  >70. He has been the  Supervisor 7 MPharm thesis and 1 PhD thesis and there are currently 3 PhD Students carrying out their research work under his supervision and 5 PhD Students under his co-supervision.

At Jamia Hamdard, he has been part of Central Admission Committee, and committee for NAAC academic Audit, School Level NAAC Committee, University NAAC Committee for NAAC-Criteria 2 and Team for All India Survey of Higher Education. He is also one of the Nodal Officer for the development of University Management System.
