Prof. JPN Mishra

Ex- Dean, School of Life Sciences, Central University of Gujarat, and currently Registrar, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad.

I did my Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi , in 1982 in the discipline  of Human Physiology. After that I worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for 8 years. Thereafter joined JVBU, Rajasthan as Professor till 2014. I joined Central University of Gujarat in 2015 as Professor and Dean, School of Life Sciences, and served there for five and half years and got superannuated on 31/12/2020. Currently I am working as Registrar, NIPER, Hyderabad.

I have worked as Director, IQAC for 18 years at above mentioned higher education institutions.

I have 139 research articles and 10 books to my credit and produced 22 Ph.D. students. I have also travelled across the globe to deliver invited lectures.

1. UGC National Research Award, 2006.

2. Lifetime achievement award, 2017 by Indian Society for Biological Sciences .

3. Have worked as Peer Team Member of NAAC Assessment and Accreditation.

Have 18 years long experience of assessing higher education institutions for their quality sustenance.
