Dr Pal Pandian P, Program Coordinator for BTech-Robotics and Mechatronics, Professor of Mechanical & Automobile Engineering, in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore has completed his BE (Mechanical Engineering) from Madurai Kamaraj University, MTech (Industrial Engineering) from National Institute of Technology Trichy (Received 2 Best Proficiency Award for securing 1st Rank in 1, 2, 3 & 4 Semesters), MBA from Alagappa University, Karaikudi and PhD (Mechanical Engineering) from Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.

He has 21+ years of experience in Academics, Research and Administration in various Engineering Colleges and University. 

He is known for his scholastic acumen and student-friendly approach while teaching subjects that lead to a unique combination of pedagogy and teaching-learning methodologies. He is an enthusiastic participant at various International and National Conferences / FDPs / STTPs / Seminars / Workshops etc., around the globe and also presented his research work.  

He has 35 publications in reputed SCI / Scopus / UGC Recognised / Peer-Reviewed International Journals. 

Also, he has presented his research in 33 International Conferences and 13 National Conferences. 

He has participated more than 150 International and National Conferences / FDPs / STTPs / Seminars and Workshops.

He has delivered 54 guest lectures in various Technical and Management topics. He is well known Resource Person for delivering Global Webinars, FDPs and STTPs in recent advanced current topics.

He got granted  5 Australian Government (IP Australia) Innovation Patents and 3 Indian Patents published. Also he was granted 2 Indian Copyrights to his credit.  He completed 35 Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) from top leading university in the globe. He is the recipient of 16 esteemed awards that includes “Award of Excellence in Research 2021”, “Best Faculty and Researcher in Mechanical Engineering” Republic Day Achievers Award 2018 from Integrated Intelligent Research (IIR), Chennai, India, “IASTE Excellence in Teaching & Research Award 2017”, “Best Faculty Award 2016” and “Teacher Achievement Award 2014” etc., Also he  received Best Paper Presentation Award and Best Poster Award in 04 International Conferences. 

Currently he is acting as coordinator for IQAC, NAAC, NIRF and external ranking (QS, India Today, The Week, The Times Higher Education) in the department.
