Dr. Ashalata Gannepalli, Professor in Dept of Oral Pathology & Microbiology in Panineeya Mahavidyalaya Institute of Dental Sciences & RC, Hyderabad, has done her B.D.S from Govt. Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad,1998, M.D.S in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, Karnataka, India in 2001. Passionate for subject area and committed to maintain up-to-date knowledge in specialist field for 19 years as committed professional, focused educator with proven experience in diagnostic pathology in diagnosing orofacial lesions. Have guided many UG and PG students, given guest lectures, scientific presentations at state level and national level conferences, publications in International, National, State indexed journals, is a peer-reviewer in state, national & international Journals.  Apart from teaching and research, conducts oral health camps in schools, communities, villages promoting oral health, side effects of deleterious habits and cancer awareness.
